Emirates boosts capacity by 40 percent on popular Dubai-Toronto route

    April 7, 2023 Travel

Dubai-based airline, Emirates, has announced that it will increase its frequency between Dubai and Toronto by offering daily flights starting from April 20th. The move is in response to the growing demand for air travel on this popular route and comes after an enhanced air service agreement between the United Arab Emirates and Canada. The daily flights will provide over 6,800 seats per week, representing a 40% increase in capacity between the two cities.

Emirates boosts capacity by 40 percent on popular Dubai-Toronto route

Emirates has been serving customers between Toronto and Dubai since 2007, and the enhanced air services agreement is a significant development for the airline. The expansion of capacity on the Dubai-Toronto route is expected to further nurture business and trade relations between Canada and the UAE, and support economic growth in both countries.

Emirates operates the flagship A380 aircraft on the Dubai-Toronto route, offering a total of 491 seats across Economy Class, Business Class, and First Class. The route is popular among customers from India, UAE, Bangladesh, Iran, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Sri Lanka. Customers can book their tickets through the Emirates website or preferred travel agents.
